Mikaiya Frierson is a senior at Marietta High School and a new member of Marietta’s school newspaper, The Pitchfork. She is an AP and IB course student. In addition to being a part of the varsity basketball cheer team and an anchor for Good Morning Marietta, Mikaiya is an active member of Model UN, Key Club, Black Student Union, and Debate Club. In her free time, when she is not reading or writing, you can find her spending time with friends and family. Mikaiya plans to attend a four-year university and pursue a career in journalism.
