Polleen Coates is an AP/IB/Honors student at Marietta High School. She has just begun her sophomore year, and is a new addition to the MHS Newspaper Staff, The Pitchfork. Polleen has been an active member in the Marietta Community, being a part of MFL , Be Somebody Orientation , and a current member of the MHS Cross Country. As well she has participated in the Marietta Theatre community since third grade, beginning at Hickory Hills Elementary. She enjoys volunteering as a Sunday school teacher at KACC as well as spending her free time cooking, running, reading or talking to her friends.In the future Polleen is interested in pursuing a career in the medical field as an Anesthesiologist.
