“Shoot for the Stars, Aim for the Moon” was the debut studio album from the late rapper Pop Smoke. It was released posthumously on July 3, 2020, 4 months after his death. The album is a blend of drill trap and R&B. The album debuted at number 1 on the Billboard top 200 and produced multiple hits like ‘The Woo,” “For the Night,” “Mood Swings,” and “What You Know About Love.” Every single one of the 19 standard tracks chartered on the Billboard Hot 100 in its first week, which is a very rare achievement. The album mixes heavy drill bass and percussion with melodic hooks. The album contains themes of ambition, struggle, success, and street life. The album ended up becoming both a tribute and a showcase of Pop Smoke’s talent.
Certified Lover Boy

“Certified Lover Boy” dropped on Sept. 3, 2021. The album was 1 hour and 26 min. The album was originally set for 2020, then January 2021, but it was delayed once again due to Drake recovering from his injury. Drake revealed that the album is the first part of a musical trilogy, followed by Honestly, Never Mind, and Her Loss, both dropped in 2022. The album’s sound is characterized by hazy atmospheres and polished R&B trap fusions. Drake described the album as a combination of toxic masculinity and acceptance of truth, which is inevitably heartbreaking.
Heroes & Villains

“Heroes & Villains” released in Dec. 2022 with a run time of 48 minutes, and it had a range of features, starting with John Legend, Don Toliver, Travis Scott, A$AP Rocky, and ending with Gunna. The album has lots of fast and upbeat songs, but then contrasts with some slow songs, keeping the upbeat feel. Heroes & Villains had 185,000 album unit sales in 2022. This album was strong with all of the features and with the label of Republic Records. The most popular song on the track was “Creepin” with The Weeknd & 21 Savage.
UTOPIA

“Utopia” was released back in July of 2023 and had a run time of 1 hour and 13 minutes. It reached the top 100 in Canada, the United Kingdom, and even Australia. Utopia reached 128 million streams on the first day and reached 650 million streams in the first week. Utopia also had 252,000 presales on the album and had 243,000 sales. Some of the biggest artists featured on the album were Drake, Playboi Carti, Young Thug, The Weeknd, and Beyoncé. The most popular song on the album was FE!N with 1.5 million streams to date.
GNX

“GNX” was released in Nov. 2024 with a runtime of 44 minutes and had 3 million views by the end of 2025. It had the top 5 spots on the Billboard 100 when the album was initially released in November. This album garnered a lot of love, thanks to its impressive lineup of features, which included Dody6, Lefty Gunplay, Wallie the Sensei, and, best of all, SZA. This album sold around 319,000 copies in its first week and went on to surpass 2 million sales by the end of 2025.
Am I The Drama

“Am I the Drama” is the second studio album by the rapper Cardi B, released on Sept. 19, 2025. The album is her first full album since her Grammy-winning debut album “Invasion Of Privacy” in 2018. The album was recorded over several years(2019-2025) after long delays. Cardi B also explained that she decided to add earlier hits on the album after fan demand showed she wanted to bring her most iconic tracks together on one project. The album has features from artists such as Summer Walker, Selena Gomez, Kehlani, Bruno Mars, and more. The film explores Cardi B’s personal evolution, her dominance in rap, and her willingness to confront critics. Some songs address said critics while others explore emotions like heartbreak and strength.
